BGO crystal has strong ability to prevent scintillation, and energy-efficient resolutionand other advantages.BGO crystal is not the latest product in the field of scintillation crystals, but it is cheap, durable and has quite good performance, so it is worth testing to evaluate whether it can be used with SiPMdetectors are used together as a radiation detector replacement.

the BGO crystal of the SiPM has beenencapsulated inPTFE tape (Teflon) to increase the amount of light emitted.Teflon tape is white, it can reflect back light that would otherwise be emitted. is then covered with a black heat-shrink sleeve to protectfrom ambient light and the front side was protected with aluminum foil.

BGO solution: Coupling with BGO (size: 5” *3.15”* 1” ):

1. Coupling one side : FHM = 17.15%(@ 661keV)

2,Coupling both side : FHM=15.25%(@661keV)
