Scintillation Detector

A PMT (Photomultiplier Tube) assembly is a component used in scintillation detectors to detect and measure ionizing radiation. PMTs consist of a photocathode, a series of dynodes, and an anode. When a photon strikes the photocathode, it releases electrons through the photoelectric effect. These electrons are then accelerated and multiplied as they pass through the series of dynodes. Finally, the multiplied electrons reach the anode, generating an electrical pulse.

For GOHI Photomultiplier tube, it can be assembled with different scintillation crystal, like NaI, CsI, BGO, LaBr3, CeBr3 and plastic scintillation. We can offer a variety of assemble options in terms of scintillators size, type of PMT, coupling grease, magnetic shielding and dismountable configurations between scintillators and PMTs, and our manufacturing process ensures the detectors with high sensitivity, high stability and excellent resolution.
